Beating waits, when pitcher will throw a ball towards “house”. Pitcher throws a ball towards “house”, and beating tries to return a ball a bat. If beating it was possible to return a ball in the field, he should throw a bat and start to run towards 1st base. When the beating starts to run, it is called as “beating-running”. If the running has reached base, it appears «in safety» and becomes “running”, differently the judge declares “miss”. If the player is declared in “miss”, it should leave from a field and remain on a bench. Each game is divided into the periods — «innings», in each of which the certain command plays on time in an attack and in protection. Each time when three players of the team of an attack have gone to a miss, commands are interchanged the position (thus, in every inning will be six misses, on three for each command). Usually game consists from 9 innings.
In case of the equal account upon termination of the last inning are appointed additional inning. The baseball match can’t end with the neutral account, additional innings are appointed before definition of the winner. Each exit beating to the house consists of a series of giving. Each giving pitcher throws towards the house, trying thus that the ball has flown by over the house at height from knees to a breast beating, in a so-called strike-zone. Beating is obliged to beat off only the balls which are flying by in a strike-zone, also it has the right to ignore a ball which is flying by out of this zone, however, it loses such right as soon as its bat begins movement. Beating, acquired the right to run, is called as running. Each running is on one of bases and tries to occupy the following base. On each base there can be only one player of an attacking command.
Thus, as much as possible 4 players of an attack can be in the field simultaneously: one beating and on one on each base. The player, concerning bases, can’t be sent in a miss. Can’t be sent in a miss and beating-running which has concerned the first base and has immediately returned on it. Thus, players try to outstrip protection and to reach the following base. Players can run between bases at any moment. If the ball has concerned the earths after blow beating the player of an attack should run on the following base if it is forced out by other player.
The blow, flown by all field and taken off for its limits, is called “houm-wounds”. He allows to type points beating and all running. Players on bases can try to run on the following base at the moment of giving — to steal base, but they risk to be taken unawares pitcher thrown ball player of the command standing on base, or to be caught , thrown a ball on that base which try to steal.
